On completion of this module the learner will/should be able to
  1. Analyse the true economic costs of occupational loss.

  2. Differentiate between key terminology applicable to the subject area.

  3. Discuss and apply concepts and principles relevant to controlling occupational loss.

  4. Review hazard identification techniques.

  5. Explain the nature of risk and the methodologies for risk assessment.

  6. Develop and communicate strategies for controlling risk.
